The MEBA Programs
The Postgraduate Education Institute at IEBA conducts Master of Engineering Business Administration (MEBA) program to help prepare students to enter and excel in the rapidly changing, highly technical, and global
marketplace. While the core curriculum remains constant, four different formats and time schedules are offered.
The Full-Time Accelerated program
is designed for students who are disciplined, organized and who welcome fast-paced challenges. This is a fast-paced program in which students earn their MEBA degree with one year of intensive study. Students must have exceptional work experience and academic qualifications to be admitted into this program.
The Part-Time/Evening program
is designed for working professionals who bring a wide range of experiences and skills into the classroom. This program offers students the opportunity to earn their MEBA degree in the evenings while they are employed.
The Online MEBA Program
is designed for working professionals. Two courses are offered each semester, both completely online. The program allows the student to obtain an MEBA without interrupting his or her career and does not require relocating.
The Corporate MEBA program
is tailored to the corporate environment and represents a partnership with a company and the MEBA program at IEBA. Although the core curriculum mirrors the MEBA program on-campus
,
elective courses can be designed to reflect the needs of a particular company. Full time faculty members travel to a company to teach the MEBA modules.

Admission Criteria
The MEBA Programs’ admission policy assures that incoming classes will be comprised of highly qualified individuals representing a diversity of backgrounds in terms of undergraduate institutions, work experience and accomplishments. The assessment committee will carefully examine the student’s admissibility based on a combination of the following criteria:
- Bachelor degree in engineering, science or technology from an accredited institution,
- Demonstrate a satisfactory level of English, with a score TOEFL 500, if the first degree is not from an institution in which instruction is in English,
- An excellent prior academic record, from accredited universities, to include grades and the trend and direction of grade performance, and/or Postgraduate Diploma from IEBA with GPA 2.5 minimum
- Three letters of recommendation from former professors or employers, which speak specifically to an applicant’s ability to complete the MEBA program successfully. These letters should provide an accurate assessment of the applicant’s executive and leadership potential,
- Work experience plays a key role in the selection process and enriches the learning environment at IEBA, especially because teamwork is such an important component of the program. Individuals accepted for the MEBA programs include those who have substantial industry work experience. The educational background of those admitted students are often business, economics and engineering,
- A current professional resume (limit two pages),
- A personal interview (for full-time program),

Internet, email and Microsoft® Office.
