Engineering Business Advisory Board (EBAB)


Background

The IEBA, International Engineering Business Academy is establishing the Engineering Business Advisory Board (EBAB) to help ensure IEBA programs are relevant and effective for its clients in industry companies, and to strengthen the IEBA ties to industrial / university members. Over 60 percent of EBAB and EB Society members are employed by industry.


EBAB Objectives

  • Bridging the gap between university research and industry needs.
  • Formulate, communicate and advocate industry needs.
  • Provide feedback on IEBA initiatives.
  • Support IEBA with industry and university related initiatives.

Board and Activities

The EBAB is comprised of university professors and industry executives at or near the CEO level of large and small companies that employ IEBA members.  The EBAB meetings focus on a wide range of topics mutual interest to industry, university and IEBA.

The Industry Advisory Board, under the direction of the Board of governors is responsible for providing a voice for industry within IEBA through the communication and advocacy of industry needs.
